This research examines counterfeit CTV and the vulnerability of political advertising. Using bid-stream data sourced from multiple real-time bidding (RTB) marketplaces, CleanTap analyzed observed patterns in Connected TV (CTV) ad delivery, revealing how measurement verification appeared technically functional while gaps emerged in buyer-side and platform-side controls that allowed delivery of counterfeit political ad impressions.
